201o Legislative Update
Your voice is needed on issues that involve our clients at the legislature. We need as many of you as possible to speak, so our voice can be heard above the din made by lobbyists for the insurance industry, banks, tobacco companies and other moneyed interests that don’t have your clients’ best interests at heart. Please be a part of our voice by attending Lobby Day 2010, Tuesday, May 4, in Sacramento. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been a regular at the capitol or have never attended a Lobby Day. We need you to represent your clients in front of legislators and their key staff members, to help them understand the needs of Californians who have been harmed by the wrongdoing of others.

Lobby Day will be held at the Sutter Club (1220 9th St., Sacramento). Legislative meetings will be scheduled by CAOC staff and will take place between 10:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be a break for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided at the Sutter Club. CAOC's Annual Legislative Reception will be at the Mix Downtown at the corner of 16th and L Streets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Also, the evening prior to Lobby Day, CAOC will host the Women’s Caucus and Minority Caucus Networking Reception.
