PRESENTED BY:
Judge James Ware
More than another rehash of the
rules, Judge Ware of the U.S. District Court will show you how to
develop effective strategies to use e-evidence in a courtroom.
|
|
Learn how to use technology so that your jury can better
understand and decide your case
Using technology to produce, store or display evidentiary exhibits or
illustrative aids changes the dynamic in a courtroom in productive and
helpful ways. Effective use of e-evidence can highlight the dispute
under adjudication, speed up the process and lead to a better
decision. In jury trials, in particular, electronic exhibits can
increase the jurors’ sense of participation and improve their
understanding of the facts.
You will learn practical solutions to introduce, authenticate, and
present e-evidence; deal effectively with opposition, and
cross-examinations; and present e-evidence in ways that will convince
juries. |
- Learn the persuasive impact of electronic
trial exhibits
- Get up to date on California and federal rules of evidence governing e-evidence
